Meet our Young Welfare Ambassador - Maisie

My name is Maisie Gate, and I am becoming a Young Persons Welfare Ambassador (YPWA) for the club. I would just like to write a few words to describe what my role is and how it will affect the club. The course is 12 months long and there are different tasks and activities I must complete within the club across the 12 months. 

Firstly, me becoming a YPWA means that young people in the club that might have any queries or worries regarding safeguarding that they could come to me as they may feel like they are more comfortable speaking to myself instead of Margaret and Alison (safeguarding officers). Anything that is said to me I will then forward to Margaret and Alison.

My main task is to make the junior members of the club aware that they always have someone they can talk to and express any worries.
